WEDDING VIDEOS

Your wedding day will be one of the greatest events in your life, but it will unfold at quite a pace. For this reason good wedding videographers will film the main parts on more than one camera as well as have a roving cameraman positioned at the next important stage. As a former live television multi-camera Director, I plan and obtain footage to tell your compelling wedding day story as if the viewer is right in the middle of every important part. I also do it with minimum intrusion to avoid the Hollywood set feel.

Today few people are prepared to watch long videos. Even when wedding videos were 1-2 hours long, couples rarely wanted to re-watch every hymn, toast, speech

and dance.

I make wedding videos that are deliberately 4 - 5 minutes long meaning they will get watched by your guests, friends and relatives.

But to do this I still need to shoot a lot of footage on the day and then carefully select the best bits for the final cut. In the editing stage I’ll use techniques learnt back in my TV days to stylise the video without over-processing it. The result is a very cinematic look providing a succinct, accurate and well balanced representation of your big day. Here is a typical example:

I realise you can find wedding video services for as low as £500. But typically they are filmed by one camera operator who will not be around for the whole event. My average fee is closer to £1000, but I bring thousands of hours of professional television experience. I shoot on several cameras and will be there for as long as needed. Finally I stylise your video to deliver that big budget look.
